I am finally getting around to doing this. Hope you guys enjoy.
How many puppies have you raised? 3(soon to be 4) Berta (FYL) - Working Guide in Washington, Maggie (FYL) - Transfer puppy, Myra (FYL) - PIT
Why did you start raising? Because I wanted to get another dog and my mom suggested this and it sounded like fun. That is totally not my reason anymore though.
How long have you been a puppy raiser? It will be two years in May. I started by going to puppy classes for about 2 months.
What is one thing you have learned in raising? Lots and lots of patience, and lots more that I don't want to bore you guys with.
What have your puppies taught you? Berta - taught me how to have fun and not be shy to anwser questions in front of people.
Maggie - how to do stuff without complaint, and she also taught me that it is harder to give up your second dog and that it's okay to get attached to them.
Myra - that dogs can have things that will really annoy you, and that sometimes they can be the perfect puppy.
What is the strangest thing someone has asked/said to you about your puppy? Is that a German Shepherd dog or what kind of a dog is that there. Not as weird as what happened to Megan.
Do you give your puppies real name out in public? Yes
What is the most embarrassing incident that you've had with your puppy? When Myra went potty in the band room and the student teacher stepped in it. It was funny to other people but
embarrassing.
What is the most proud moment you've had with your puppy? When Berta graduated as a guide dog.
What advice do you have for newbie puppy raisers/owners? If you raise just one puppy you will get hooked on puppy raising, and it's really fun.

Ahhh someone stepped in it? That would be the worst! I'm sure it's a tad bit funny now, but definitely not at the time. :) Good answers.
Yes people stepping in it has to be one of the worst things...
